Resume Match Check provides free, anonymous, rule-based comparison between a resume you upload and job description text you paste. It does not provide hiring decisions, employment advice, legal advice, or guarantees of interviews or job offers.
Eligibility and responsibility
- You must only upload resumes and content you have the right to use.
- Do not upload someone else’s resume without appropriate permission.
- You are responsible for the accuracy of content you submit and for how you use the results.
Guidance only
Match scores, strengths, gaps, and suggestions are automated guidance based on text comparison. They may miss context, misread formatting, or overlook qualifications that are not clearly stated in the uploaded text. Always review job requirements yourself before applying.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Attempt to disrupt, overload, or reverse engineer the service beyond ordinary use.
- Upload malware, executable payloads, or files intended to exploit the system.
- Use automated scraping or bulk abuse that interferes with normal operation.
- Submit Help & Feedback messages that include unlawful content or unnecessary sensitive personal data.
Analysis and feedback endpoints are rate limited to reduce abuse and protect service availability.
Privacy
How temporary files, analytics, reCAPTCHA, and feedback email are handled is described in the Privacy Policy.
Availability and changes
The service is provided as available. Features, limits, and uptime may change. We may suspend or modify the service for maintenance, security, or operational reasons.
Disclaimer of warranties
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Resume Match Check is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, including fitness for a particular purpose or uninterrupted, error-free operation.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Resume Match Check and its operators are not liable for decisions you make based on match results, hiring outcomes, lost data from interrupted requests, or indirect damages arising from use of the service.
